The UK has the oldest housing stock in Europe, and most likely the world. Victorian houses are really popular, but also the most challenging to upgrade and maintain.  Over 12 years and 70 projects architectural practice ARCHEA have built a start-to-finish process for home renovation and extension projects specifically tailored to homeowners of Victorian properties. They have cracked the code for delivering affordable, reliable and climate-proof home upgrades. At the heart of the identity is a flexible A that extends and scales to reflect the changes ARCHEA can bring about. Illustrations from Pat Thomas bring these retrofitting projects in kitchens and attics to life. In addition to the identity and system manuals, we also designed an engaging website (developed by Gareth Jones) that serves as a first port of call for prospective clients.
