Education and training at the Tavistock and Portman is distinctive. They are one of very few providers in the UK that can offer education within an NHS mental health clinical setting. For our 4th edition of this prospectus, the leading UK mental health clinic needed to quickly adjust to the challenges presented in 2020. With open days cancelled they needed a digital only prospectus to reach prospective students. We embraced this change with a complete overhaul that reflected the times.
Unable to access staff, students or the building for photography we turned to illustration to document experiences of studying and working at the clinic. Lucia Vinti’s brightly coloured and expressive drawing style brought a sensitivity to the illustrations that portrayed different pathways taught at the clinic.
