We were given the unusual task of creating an identity to celebrate Alan Penn’s 10 years of Deanship at the Bartlett. During his 10 years at the helm the Faculty has radically transformed and grown, so it was quite right that he was given a significant send off. Our playful identity is inspired by Alan’s passion for Space Syntax – the study of the relationship between people and spaces.
We also designed a one of a kind book, filled with nostalgic anecdotes, memos, and thank yous. The book was cloth bound and foil blocked with our logo, by the bookbinding experts at The Wyvern Bindery.
And as a big fan of tote bags (“great for keeping bread fresh”), we even created a personalised tote bearing his logo.
