Vulture Conservation Foundation

Helping protect this much misunderstood species

Europes vulture numbers are in alarming decline, threats from poisoning, lack of food, and collisions with wind farms and power lines are putting populations at risk. Vultures unattractive scavenger behaviour and looks can mean they’re often misunderstood. But as a scavenger of dead animals, vultures prevent the spreading of diseases fulfilling a vital function in the ecosystem. We’ve created a positive identity and website for the Vulture Conservation Foundation, an NGO committed to the conservation of Europe’s vultures.
